You asked for it and here it is …. My Clean Eating Slimming World Chicken Recipe!
This post started when I posted a ‘snap’ of tonights dinner on snapchat (this was it by the way!) when I got loads of people messaging me asking about it- I knew the only way i’d get the recipe to everyone was to do a post on it- so this is it! This is a meal I absolutely loveeee and have loved for a while now (going back to my clean eating attempt), I love it because its healthy no matter what diet your on! Quite often diets like Slimming world / weight watchers etc don’t reward the healthy choices like coconut oil, avocado etc which by SW standards are Syns. Anyway this was one I could make into a Low Syn Recipe (Syn Free if you don’t make the sauce -but I do recommend you try it! It compliments the chicken and the Sweet Potato so well and they are ‘healthy syns’ coming from the tahini and light coconut milk).
For the chicken : Mix up the following : three table spoons light soy , 2 garlic cloves , 2 teaspoon of turmeric , 1 teaspoon of cumin, 1/4 bunch of finely chopped coriander , juice of one lemon ,half thumb ginger and marinade for anywhere between (1hr-24hrs depending on your own circumstances)- these are completely Syn free and delicious!
Serve with Chunky Sweet Potato Wedges and Enjoy !!! 🙂
